Biography

Janice attended Victoria College of Art, and over the years has taken the opportunity to attend classes or workshops with the following; Jack Wise, Bill Porteous, Glenn Howarth, Jim Gordaneer, Steven Sham, Ken Hardy, Jim McDonald, and Flemming Jorgensen.
Janice has lived on Galiano Island for over 20 years, helping to build a home, and especially raising her two children with her partner, Brad Prevedoros a musician and composer.
In 2001 Janice helped build a small studio on their Galiano Island property in order to have an expanded work space and also an exhibition space for summer visitors. She assists and participates in the Galiano Art Tour among other art-oriented endeavors. In 2004 Janice formed a Women's Art Show with several other artists on Galiano Island.The artist is enjoying the renewed enthusiasm she can focus on her painting at this midway point in her lifetime.
